Beat Saber (VR)

Participant Setup:

• Players: Open to individual competitors.
• Song Selection: Each competitor picks three songs from the available song list before the competition begins.

Game Structure:

• The competition consists of three rounds, each round using a different song and increasing in difficulty.
   
• Round Progression:
  • Round 1: Normal difficulty. After completion, eliminate the lowest 33% of scores.
  • Round 2: Hard difficulty. Following this round, eliminate the lowest 50% of the remaining competitors.
  • Round 3: Expert difficulty. The competitor with the highest score in this round wins the competition.

Song Randomization:

• Songs for each round are randomized from the competitors’ selections to ensure variety and fairness.
   

Scoring and Elimination:

• Scores are calculated based on accuracy, timing, and the number of missed notes.
   
• The elimination thresholds are set at 33% and 50% for the first and second rounds, respectively.
• The final round's winner is determined by the highest score achieved on the expert difficulty song.
